This page describes the catalogue, online checkout, enquiry helper and private supplier workspaces.
You can purchase shop products without registering. We use your checkout email and delivery details for payment, fulfilment and order updates. A secure, necessary guest cookie lets this browser view its own orders for up to 30 days. It does not grant member, sourcing, trial, staff or owner access. Contact hello@agricart.co.za with your order reference for help from another device.
AgriCart stores your authenticated account identifier, email, name, optional farm or business, growing location, grower type, registration date and consent version to provide member services. Email accounts use Supabase Auth to verify email addresses, manage passwords and deliver recovery emails. AgriCart does not store your password. Registration is free and does not subscribe you to marketing. Your profile does not give access to supplier, staff or owner tools. Trial notebooks are stored privately against your account identifier and can be exported or deleted from the notebook area. Ask hello@agricart.co.za about correcting or deleting your member profile.
If you apply for agricultural zero-rating, AgriCart stores your registered legal name, VAT number, SARS authorisation notice and your farming-use declaration. Certificates are held in private storage and are accessible only to your account and the AgriCart owner. The owner checks the notice and records approval, rejection or withdrawal, with any authorised dates and review history. Order records retain the authorisation and VAT treatment used when placed. Certificates, review history and tax records are retained for applicable tax recordkeeping requirements; request corrections through the privacy contact below. These documents are not published in the catalogue or used to subscribe you to marketing.
Your language choice, saved products, sourcing shortlist, comparisons and cart preferences are stored in this browser. Shortlist quantities stay on this device until you submit them as a quotation request. Remove local preferences using your browser’s site-data settings. Optional first-party usage counts are off unless you enable them in Cookie preferences. They store daily activity totals by website area, without visitor identifiers, IP addresses, emails, product codes, URLs, search terms or messages. No external analytics service is used. Turning this off clears queued activity and stops future counts; previous aggregate totals cannot be linked to an individual browser.
The enquiry helper prepares an email draft in your browser. It does not send or save your enquiry to the AgriCart server. Review the named recipient before sending it in your email app. Your email provider and the recipient then process that message.
The website contact form and variety trial / special import form store your submitted contact details and request in AgriCart’s database. The owner reviews these records to respond and assess sourcing. Trial and import requests are confidential and are not published in the catalogue. We agree which details may be shared with a supplier before contacting them. Trial seed requests also retain your member identity, selected variety, growing conditions, planting date, requested quantity, check variety, target market, objective, planned measurements, status, messages and offer acceptance. You can track and withdraw an eligible request in My trial requests. Internal review notes are visible only to the owner. Form consent does not subscribe you to marketing. Use the privacy enquiry contact below to request access, correction or deletion.
Your trial plans, learning checklists and field observations are saved to your signed-in account in AgriCart’s database. Other accounts cannot view these notebooks. You can correct observations, export a CSV, archive a notebook or delete it from My trial notebooks. Records are not automatically published or shared with suppliers. Linking a seed request includes only the plan details shown in the request form, which you review before submitting.
Owner, staff and supplier sign-in uses hosted authentication. Account roles, supplier profiles, submissions, messages, pricing and audit history are stored in the shared database. Uploaded evidence is held in private file storage. Access is restricted by account role and supplier workspace.
Checkout stores your account identity, delivery address, contact telephone, pack selections, totals and order status in the shared database. AgriCart and authorised order managers use these details to fulfil your order. Card details are entered on Yoco’s hosted payment page; AgriCart stores payment references and verified results, not card details. Manual EFT orders retain the banking instructions shown when ordered and a record of the cleared-funds confirmation. Test orders are clearly labelled and are not dispatched.
When you submit a question to Agri, AgriCart sends your question, up to six recent messages, the public page path, selected language and relevant public catalogue or resource information to OpenAI to generate a reply. Avoid sharing passwords, payment details or private account information. AgriCart does not save conversation transcripts to your account or database; the open conversation is held in this page’s memory. OpenAI processes requests under its applicable data policies. AgriCart keeps short-lived, hashed usage counters to limit automated use. The guide cannot place orders or submit requests for you.
